Tsigarithra or Traditional Food Festival

All who will visit our village in February will have the opportunity to witness up close the preparation and taste traditional food called "tsigarithres" also cornbread with wine.

If you have never tasted this traditional delicacy, you have lost out through it is not adviced for people who have high cholesterole.

In the past when nothing was wasted they took the skin of the pig and cleared what it had left inside and heated the grease – meat until only the meat remained with a minimum of grease, that made up the tsigarithra, a delicacy for all.
